Went to urgent care and the lady at the front desk said it was the perfect time because they werent busy I was quickly put in a room . From there in all went down hill I went in at 530 and didnt see anyone till 630 the nurse came in and took my vitals and said the doctor had one patient ahead of me and it just got worse from there I didnt see a doctor till an hour later if not longer I am 28 weeks pregnant and 10 days with covid fever free. the doctor at the urgent care suggested I go to the Er which I did and that was a bigger mess took forever to get answers or anything type of meds because they didnt know what to do for me they ran tests ct and ekg and had me sit in a room still no meds after 5 hours I was finally told I have pneumonia after the first doctor told me she didnt think it was pneumonia and there was nothing they could do for me they did finally give me something to nausea after asking and after the nurse forgot and the doctor assumed they had already given me something it was a train wreck . No iv was given and was sent to spearfish to monitor my baby now its almost 11 and the doctor seems upset because I didnt want to go all the way to spearfish could it wait till the morning considering Im tired. Long story short next time I will just go to spearfish . There I feel like I got better care and they actually listen and didnt shrug it off as on covid pneumonia. I understand being an holiday weekend and if it was busy having to wait but when its clear you arent busy and its slow you think you would be faster instead of ditching someone in a room waiting for 10 minutes which was 45 mins to an hour each time . Very disappointing and it seems like a waste of time all I found out was I have pneumonia and nothing was given about it except push a non fda wanna be covid shot down my throat which I declined but I had questions on what it would do to my baby . Next time Ill just go to spearfish . They were faster and nicer and they were busy as well and still managed to find the time
