NEVER use these people. Totally screw you on parts and labor. Quoted a $1000 for brakes and rotors. Called 3 other places a d they quoted $350-$400. Checked online and can get the same parts for $200 so by my math that's $800 in labor. Don't stand behind their work either. Several other places in Rapid City that treat people fair.

I took my vehicle here to get the AC fixed. They advised me to leave my car overnight and leave the keys in their Dropbox, so I did. That night my car was then broken into on their lot. The following morning they let me know it was broken into. Long story short, it took over a week, of literally battling it out with the shop of who was going to pay for the damages. They tried to claim it was no different than if my car got vandalized at the Walmart parking lot. Finally their insurance called me and the insurance company was amazing. They took care of everything AND apologized for how the shop handled the situation. They advised the shop handled it completely inappropriately. Thankfully, everything worked out. But man this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth for working with Advance Auto. I would warn potential future customers to just ensure you keep a good eye on your vehicle if you leave it in their care. They do not have any security cameras on their exterior.

This place has terrible workmanship. Dealing with them right now and they admitted they fired the guy that worked on our vehicle because he made so many mistakes but refuse to make this right. They also over charge horribly. Tried saying its $1000 for a brake job. Charged $200 for an oil change and a filter for a fan. NEVER EVER use these people. Plenty of other places to take your vehicle. They have a place on Cherry St and Jackson Blvd. Do yourself a favor and go to TMA $50 oil change and $400 for brakes and rotors and workmanship you can trust. Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the best shop in Rapid City hands down! Taylor and Troy are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They kept me updated on the process the entire time and answered all my questions. When I picked my car up they explained everything in a manner I could understand and gave me advice on what I needed to do moving forward to keep my car on the road!
