Blown away by the terrible treatment. They recently brought back an old debt that I had settled with them 15 years ago. They claim that I never paid it and after all this time, I no longer have my proof. I understand that human error occurs and am even willing to pay it yet again but I can't understand the way it was handled. They refused to take payments even though I have been in good standing with them for over 5 years now. They were all of a sudden ready to shut me off that second if I didnt pay the back debt immediately and even though I have small children in the heat of the summer. Totally disgusting. If they had shown any kind of integrity in this matter I wouldn't be writing this review. Collecting on a debt more than once, 15 years later, when they know I have no other options for electicity....well played. Avoid if possible but if not then keep your paperwork.
