Best Western U-Bar Motel

I had originally picked a hotel in Sioux Falls to stay but ended up needing to be more out west. I called this place (recommended by locals as well) and was immediately warmly greeted and welcomed by the owner, Morgan. This property is even better than a big hotel you can stay at in the city. Secure high-tech digital code locks on the door which was super convenient to book a room and then just enter versus having to wait to check in. The rooms are nice sized and clean with everything you need. Very homey and quaint and well taken care of- it's super cute! Morgan was very friendly and easy to talk to and totally understood my situation. She made sure to give me a room that was up to her standards and was very accommodating with giving me directions, making sure I had everything I needed for my stay, and being so genuine and having a good sense of humor when I talked to her. She has checked in with me during my stay and made me very comfortable. Every time I come out here to visit ~my friend~ I plan to stay here again! 10/10 would recommend! Rooms: The rooms are very good size and taken care of. They were clean and very nicely set up and organized. Nice sized counters and mirrors for getting ready, comfortable and clean beds, fresh scent as soon as you walk in, convenient mini fridge/freezer and microwave and a nice sized tub/shower. Nearby activities: It's a small town and a cute little downtown strip with a local grocery store, restaurant, antiques store and some other businesses. It's a cute little town to take a walk around and explore the quiet streets. Safety: This is a very small and safe town. Everyone is friendly and welcoming! The rooms have a very safe and high-tech door lock with a number code to get into the room. Walkability: This is a small town so everything is within walking distance. The nearest city is Sioux Falls, about 35 minutes east. Food & drinks: There is a small local gas station/grocery store nearby. This property also has rooms with small kitchens and a community room/kitchen to use. Noteworthy details: Very accommodating to guests and goes above and beyond for visitors!

Charming, adorable hotel. It feels like going to grandmas house, cozy and sweet. The bed has real throw pillows, comforter and sheets. I stayed in a room with a kitchenette and they had everything you would need - even dish soap and hot pads for taking things out of the oven. A little bit off the interstate but well worth it. Saving this place on my list of places to visit again. Also Morgan really cares about her guests. We had to stop because of weather and she checked if we needed food or anything before turning in for the night.

Came for a funeral. Morgan (the owner) was very friendly and accommodating. Pillows and bedding were very comfortable! Room clean, would definitely stay again.

The outside appearance of the motel was very nice. Our room was very clean and we had all the necessities that we needed for our stay. The motel personnel were available if we needed any assistance. We would stay here again. Safety: The area was safe at all times. The motel is located in a quiet area of the community.
