Back in the year of our Lord 2005, I took part in a 5 vehicle - 20 person storm chase. On day 3, we found that the weather took us to the border area of Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. There isn't a huge choice in roads out here, and especially in Montana, these roads were rough.
As we headed back east in to South Dakota, we realized that one of our vehicles had a flat tire and we needed to get it changed. Out here, we didn't have cell service, let alone hope of a shop. In Camp Crook, we lucked out in finding the General Store & Repair. We discovered that 2 other vehicles also had tires losing air and needed plugged. They could have charged whatever they wanted, but the prices were standard for a quick plug - about $8 each. May have helped that we had 20 people all purchasing snacks and such...
Anyhow, the people were as nice as you'd find anywhere. The service was quick and friendly. I think we must have met about half of the town while getting repairs. We would have been stuck without them, and we would have just been stuck down the road without their diligence. Good folks. I'd recommend it!
