First Bank & Trust

This bank use to be good but in the last several years it has proven otherwise. Lack of consistency, delays in deposits, fees, etc. Beginning to compare to Wells Fargo. Miss the small town ownership this bank had to offer years ago.

Best advantage is all the banks and ATM'S in brookings. Other than that the home mortgage interest rate is high. Just to get a personal loan it's a $75 fee and the worst part is they attack the thousands of dollar's worth of asset's for small loans. Like a $700 loan they will push you to put down a $10,000 vehicle as collateral. I know they need to make money but the loan fee and the interest on it is more than enough.

I have had an account with this bank for years, and they are great. Kyler was very helpful today when I had some problems with my account, and I am very thankful for his kind customer service.

I bank from out of town, so I call their phone lines A LOT (as I am fairly young, and tend to have a lot of questions.) Every time I call, the phone bankers are helpful, sweet, and super polite. Every. Single. Time. These people need a raise!!!
