I was given a $200 gift card to this boutique last year. It was not provided to me in any sort of envelope or sleeve from the boutique. I did use $40 to buy a Christmas gift with no issues. Then today I went to use the remaining amount and was surprised when the woman at the checkout counter informed me that the gift card expired in April. She said the card should have come in a sleeve with a specified date on it (didnt). Upon examination, the gift card itself did not have any sort of an expiration warning. And there is nothing on my receipt from December that indicates gift card remaining value or an expiration date. They took the card and offered nothing in the way of resolution. Very poor business practice, essentially stealing money without providing goods. Unfortunate since boutique does offer cute, trendy clothing, but I will not be returning.
