Islamorada Fish Company

We were promptly seated, as restaurant wasn't busy at all. Our waiter was Paul. He was hit with another 8 top on top of our 6 top. Very poor service and attention to detail from drink orders to the check. The food itself was average to above average for the table. Fish and chips, fried shrimp, and clam chowder was quality, as was my Cuban press sandwich. Unfortunately drinks ran empty multiple times and had to get another server to get the check so we could leave. The thing that bothered me the most is that the servers bickered publicly about the numbers of tables assigned and seemed genuinely not interested in their jobs.

Went on a Saturday, cold out, promptly seated. Would have liked the room with the fireplace which was fairly empty but was seated across from the bar, drafty and a walkthrough thoroughfare for the staff. Calamari was good, fish and chips inedible, really strong off taste. Waiter suggested trying another piece?! Heard another person complain about the fishy taste as we were leaving. Will not go back. Very disappointed with overall experience. Two people, two drinks, one appetizer, a salad, and an order of fish and chips,

We eat here every time we come to Myrtle Beach. It is rarely busy and the food is great. But because it is not usually so busy, when it is busy they don't seem to have adequate wait staff. The kids love getting alligator appetizers.
