        I had a leaking flush valve on a john. The plumbers first said it would be $ 195.00 then after they started they said the would have to reseat the whole john and it would run around $400.00 . I paid for the service call , went to Lowes and purchased an American Standard john for $ 235.00 put it in and have a new one for jut about half what they wanted to fix the old one. Will not call Ben Franklin again. I have used them for cleaning drains for years. Will call another firm next stop up. Jeff Haley

        I called them twice late on a weekend night for an emergency repair, and their call center said a technician would contact me within 30 minutes. The technician never followed up, even days later. I went with a different service, which responded within 5 minutes.
