My water, trash, and power charges are combined. So this may or may not be the proper forum for comments about water service. But you collect the money so you are the only entity I know to contact. REALLY. Water half the time. ZERO advance notice of outages. Zero contact from you. ZERO. how much contact would I get from you if I “sometimes†paid my bill. You know how to get in touch with me. Why the heck don’t you do that when you are about to turn off the water‼ï¸

Worst company I have ever experienced my power goes out 5-7 times a week. When it does they shut down there phone lines and refuse to answer. The power bill is 600 dollars regardless of your usage bc they don’t check meters. I have a door bell camera and have not once seen them check the meters. My power bill is higher than my rent it’s absolutely uncalled for. They are crooked as you can get and need to be investigated bc something is very very wrong with this company and yet no one seems to be doing anything about it.

Lockhart power is higher priced than any other power company I have worked with. If you are moving here plan for 550-800 a month. As for customer service they wont pick up the phone but have always been nice in the office. They are very stern about financial matters and have a high deposit. I have heard from several residents in my neighborhood that Lockhart went out of their way to make going solar a nightmare legally. I am planning to go solar because their so over priced and I will update my post with my experience with them. Someone does need to investigate the billing practices here because my consumption is no higher than it was in charlotte but the bill is 4x more expensive.

Lockhart power is absolutely horrible about people who are financially struggling, they just do not care. It seems like they actually want to turn power off, so they can charge extra fees, like reconnecting fees. They constantly raise the rates, but the service just gets worse and worse. If it rains for 10 minutes, I immediately charge my phone, get my flashlight and candles because the power is going to go out. Additionally, they are responsible for cutting tree branches out of the power lines. They just ignore requests from people needing limbs cut out of the way of power lines. On top of that, when they finally do show up, there will be 8 guys, 2 trucks, with 7 guys standing around, staring at one guy in a bucket on a crane who is clipping just the tips of limbs. Then they leave the limbs and debris on your property, for you to clean up. They really are just terrible.
