image We arrived around 8:30 am, there were only 4-5 other cars present. Thankfully, due to the time and season, few mosquitoes were out. We did the boardwalk trail, it was well maintained and the self guided tour was very informative. We saw some wild pigs and other small wildlife. Definitely worth a stop if you are nearby.

image Great park! Love that there's no entrance fee. The boardwalk is beautifully maintained. Saw turtles in Weston Lake and a cottonmouth under bridge C. Nice and green in late March

image Went for a late March afternoon and did the Boardwalk and Weston Lake Trail. Both were in great shape and the park was just blooming, beautiful. Watch out for the caterpillars! They were hanging from trees over parts of the trail so we'd end up finding them on us. There were a few spots where there were so many we had to use a stick to knock them down! Good spot to walk the dogs as well, saw lots on the trails.
