A Healthy Home

We used a Healthy Home a few years ago to encapsulate our crawlspace and add a dehumidifier. The company was always responsive and wonderful to work with. They then went under new ownership and our experience has been horrendous. Travis never returns our calls and will not come out to service their humidifier that is under warranty. We have called three times and emailed once with no response. DO NOT USE this company unless their ownership changes.

Travis was very responsive at first but once hired and paid a deposit, never showed up when scheduled, missed several appointments, took twice the time to complete the job while also requesting to be paid during the job which was incomplete, he only showed up in the evenings and did a poor job in the dark, and never came back to repair / finish a few items as promised. He also installed a used dehumidify in my crawl space but charged me for a new one. I would not use him for home repair and would certainly not pay him until you’ve fully inspected his work.

I had my crawl space encapsulated and a dehumidifier installed within the past year. The encapsulation job looks great and has held up well. The dehumidifier has been an issue. It is supposed to be a low maintenance unit that is self draining. I will notice the humidity level in the crawl space rise and when I go check the dehumidifier is not running and the reservoir is full of water. I have to empty the reservoir and then the unit will begin to run again. This will only last for about 1/2 to a full day before I have to empty the reservoir again. This happened previous and someone came out to "fix" it. The fix lasted a few months and here I am again with the same issue. I sent a message asking that someone come fix the issue. Hopefully they can get it figured out....
