Kelsey Strickland at Blue Ribbon Equine Services MURDERED my cat, Tilly.Like many of the reviewers on this page, I too trusted Kelsey Strickland with the veterinary needs of my three pets. I thought she was someone who truly cared about animals the way I do. My pets are my children, my babies. They’re absolutely innocent and deserve all the love in the world. Unfortunately, Kelsey Strickland apparently does not feel the same. If she genuinely cared about animals, she would surrender her license to practice veterinary medicine before she harmed or killed another innocent creature.*TRIGGER WARNING*In April 2020, I had the worst experience of my life: Kelsey Shea Strickland killed my cat, Tilly.I initially contacted Strickland because Tilly was passing ONLY blood after attempting to defecate in the litterbox. To be clear: ONLY BLOOD came out. There was absolutely no feces. I was terrified and contacted Strickland immediately. She did not seem concerned and told me to make an appointment at her clinic in the morning. I was a bit relieved at Strickland’s lack of concern, thinking that it wasn’t as big a deal as I initially thought.Tilly’s Aunt Dawn and I brought him to his appointment the next morning. Strickland diagnosed him with constipation, which she had done in the past, even though he had never presented with this symptom before. She gave him a few prescriptions. Throughout the next day, I informed Strickland that Tilly only seemed to be getting worse. His eyes were constantly dilated. He was hiding in places that he had never been before. Strickland claimed that this was due to his anxiety and hatred of medication. (I now know that he was experiencing shock, which should have prompted Strickland to refer Tilly to an emergency hospital.)Tilly passed away on the morning of April 16, 2020. He suffered for over two days due to Kelsey Strickland’s incompetence.After consulting with a veterinarian who specializes in feline surgery, I now know that Kelsey Strickland should have immediately instructed me to take Tilly to an emergency veterinarian when I first contacted her. Tilly passing only blood from the anus signals a problem that must be dealt with immediately, like an ulcer, a tumor, cancer, etc. However, Kelsey Strickland, a licensed veterinarian (though I don’t know how), did not recognize this. Thanks to Srickland’s malpractice, Tilly suffered needlessly for days.After Kelsey Strickland found out that she killed Tilly and I requested copies of my pets’ records, she extensively altered them. This is, by definition, FRAUD. Strickland realized that she murdered Tilly and attempted to alter the records to get out of professional and legal trouble. (Though I can prove a lot of her fraudulent alterations with receipts from her clinic and text messages.) In the altered records, Strickland claimed that she diagnosed Tily with IBD two years before his murder. She claimed that I refused to put him on prescription food. She even claimed that Tilly presented with “bloody stool” in the days before his death. (Though I have text message proof of sending her a photo of the litterbox with only blood.)When I got the (handwritten) records from Strickland, I realized that she also put my dog on medication that she didn’t need. This is proven by the bloodwork in my dog’s record. My dog was on liver medication for YEARS that she didn’t even need.Kelsey Shea Strickland is a killer, a fraud, and a liar. If you care about your pets at all, please find a different veterinarian. I wish someone had warned me about this sorry excuse of a human being before she MURDERED my baby Tilly. He was an angel. He was innocent. And he did not deserve Kelsey Strickland’s negligence and malpractice.

I found Dr. Strictland to be knowledgeable and truely concerned about the people's financial issues out in this area. She does not charge an arm and a leg and treat your baby with care as any high paying vet. She shows you what it is all about, you and your animal and not how much she can gouge out of your pocket.

Dr. Strickland is absolutely amazing! Best vet i have ever had. Treats all my animals like they are her own! She is absolutely the most caring and compassionate person in her field. She is also very affordable, not out for the money but out for the best treatment possible for your fur babies. I just can't say enough. My fur babies are very fortunate to have her and her (mother) in their lives. I love that no matter what she is doing she will make the time for my babies. Thank you for choosing to be a vet! I would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone.

I have a 3 yr old pitbull, Lucy, that needed shots and heartworm medication. I called Blue Ribbon and they told me to be there in 30 minutes if I wanted to. We were greeted at the door and lead straight to a room. The entire staff was beyond great with my dog! She absolutely loved them! The doctor took alot of time to exam her thoroughly and explain to me what exactly is going on with her. Lucy even let them cut her nails without even a whimper. If you love your pet and want the best possible care, this is the place.
