Restaurant review only (didn't go into market): Fresh, fried seafood. If you prefer your seafood any other way, this is not the place for you. That said, the fish & shrimp we had were not heavily breaded nor greasy. Breading appeared to be a mixture of flour & cornmeal, well seasoned & lightly coated. Fries were a bit soggy (like they'd been sitting cooked for a while), but everything else (fish, shrimp, onion rings) was hot & crispy. Coleslaw was pretty good - not too sweet, not too vinegary, not too mayonnaisey... Just needed a little salt & pepper. Hushpuppies were dense in the middle, but had good flavor. A little pricey, but everything is now. Super friendly lady waiting tables.

It was meh...i do like to read reviews but dont allow that to always dictate if i go...the only thing i saw that was bad was customer service and honestly i could care less, as long as they arent irate rude i dont like talking to people anyway so the less chatter is fine with me...on to the food...i ordered 2 catfish dinners with cabbage and string beans, deviled crab and a crocker fish sandwich cane to $52.00...the fried fish was amazing didnt have anything bad to say about that, flavorful and cooked just right, now the sides on the other hand, no flavor, steamed and thats about it, i had to add alittle salt and pepper, it was edible. .i doubt i go back to this place for anything else other than the seafood market to buy fresh fish... but all in all it was just ok

Do not order delivery services they do not secure the food, tape or staples. This place is a case of local Nostalgia fame not as good as it once was,much higher prices for less.
