I reached out to Dale after a colleague of mine recommended him to handle a plumbing issue I had. I called Dale and he reassured me that he's the man for the job. Not only did he do an excellent job with my plumbing issue, Dale is now taking care of the heating & air in the property that I had just bought. Dale Pearson owner of SPC did work on my home, costing me thousands of dollars! He put vinyl siding on the entire house, new roof, refloored my den/ living room combo with new wood and replaced all my floors with laminite flooring, and replaced two windows. I was a widow at the time and I trusted him to do everything right. This was 2010/2011 that he worked on my house. I made the mistake of paying him all up front before each job was completed so he obviously used my money to do other jobs before my house was completed, taking him longer to get my work done. When I started seeing things not right, I called to get him to come back and fix what was not complete, or not done to standards. He would always promise to come back and look at the things I would tell him about. My vinyl siding on the entire house does not match the garage siding, which I just let it go because it was already installed. The facial boards are in short lengths instead of the long, neat look that it should have on the front and back of my house. I had an expert from Sherwin Williams to come out and look at my siding and was told he could not believe how shabby my siding was! An inspector came out and also looked at my roof and was also in disbelief of the shabby job. The laminate flooring was pieced together at each bedroom door so if I use a vacuum, I have to lift it up over the threshold of the doors. Around the fireplace is also pieced together which makes it look very tacky!! The new flooring that he replaced in my den/living room is very uneven! The worst part of his work is my new roof! It leaked in my bathroom and dining room so I called my insurance company to get an estimate of the damages. The adjuster took pictures of my roof and began to show me how it should be done and how Dale and his crew actually did it! The reason it leaked is because the whole top of the roof is not joined together properly. In other words, it’s gaping open and it is rotting my rafters and shingle molding. Therefore the insurance company denied my claim for a new roof or ceiling to be fixed. Dale came back and “patched” the leak in the dining room but has yet to fix my ceiling or do anything else! He just kept promising that he would!! I am writing this after giving him every chance to correct his mistakes but he hasn’t! If you use Dale Pearson’s company SPC, you will be doing so at your own risk! It’s been a few years before I am reporting this because he just kept promising he would make things right! As of this day I have not heard back from him after leaving several messages! I am also following up with BBB and CPA. This should not be allowed to happen to his paying customers and him just not care!!
