Well they didn't show and received no phone call the first day. When they did show they were late and didn't cut what was discussed. They came back to finish and still didn't cut branches all the way back and leftthe debris in the yard. They said no damage to roof had accord when limb hit roofbut weeks later the ceiling collapsed in bedroom from water damage. It's been too long to prove now they did it but im confident they did. Never again. Lost my business.

I had Thompson Tree Climbers come out to cut down several trees in my yard. They did a great job! 1st time hiring a Tree company and felt kinda over my head but was pleasantly happy with the out come.

My husband and I had the owner of this company come to our home to give us an estimate on taking down one tree. We should’ve known what kind of business we were dealing with from the very start (since the owner himself didn’t even show up the first time he agreed to come out). He didn’t answer our calls and never even called or texted us to let us know that he wouldn’t be able to make it out. So, he came out the next morning, gave us an estimate, and agreed to be at our house “around 11am” the next day to do the work. Once again, he was a no-call no-show and wouldn’t respond to any of our calls or text msgs. We really wanted to use a black-owned business but the way that Mr. Thompson conducts business is completely unprofessional and downright disrespectful of his potential customers’ time. At this point, I would rather pay a higher price to deal with a professional company who actually shows up when they say they will and does the work that they agree to do. Quite frankly, I have no idea how this company stays in business if this is how he treats his customers. And, for the record, I DO have the correct company but our names probably aren’t in his records either because he never gave us a written quote or estimate. But I assure you that Mr. Thompson has quite a few missed calls from us since he was never even good enough to take our calls.

I’m not typically one that rates folks on the internet but this company went above and beyond. Extremely professional, punctual, cost effective, and communicative. My job was a couple of monster oak trees. In fact, I had hired first another company who came to the job and realized they were in over their heads. Arthur, I’ve been told by other tree professionals is one of the best in the business. They proved it with their actions. There were a lot of moving parts to this job and some unique requests and they were able to meet the timeline and cost effectively handle a bunch of items we stacked on, like running a trench for an electrical conduit and linking into our sprinkler system. In short, for us they were the best crew I have hired for project like this and this is my 5th home. Lots of contractors over the years, Thompson Tree is the best I’ve had and I would recommend them to anyone.
