Bought 2 pairs of Maui Jim's from Scott today. He was very helpful while giving me space to browse. Great selection and competitive prices.

When I walked in the employee's initial reaction was to be helpful. I spent a lot of time comparing sunglasses on my own in the mirrors, left and came back after looking around elsewhere in the mall. I spent more time comparing some more glasses and finally found the ones I liked. I asked if the employee could check the back for other colors in that frame and she declined by saying something that contradicted what she had said earlier. (She had offered to check the back earlier for different frames, but I didn't take her up on that offer.) I got the impression that she had grown uncomfortable with me comparing glasses for so long and just didn't want to go out of her way. I asked if one of the employees could clean up the glasses on the display and f they were in good shape I would buy them. He was cleaned them up, they were in great shape and I bought them. The girl rubbed me the wrong way with her contradictory statements about non visible stock and possible attitude change over time. Maybe she knew there weren't any more of that model in the back but what she said made it sound like she was trying to tell me they only had in stock what you could see on the wall. Not only did she say otherwise earlier, but every place was filled in the store, something else went into the empty spot right after I left the store. The place got the job done at a fair price, the same or less as ordering online. The service is good enough if you want to walk in, impulse buy and leave.
