If I could I'd give this facility NO stars at all, what's happening to the seniors here (dirty carpets, mildew, dirty floors, roaches, mice, rats, a laundry room that needs repairs, ASAP and so on) is atrocious, and for those of you who have loved ones staying at this place, you need to check up on them 'right away' and bring some consumer advocates (and maybe the media) with you. How about you coming unannounced so you can see for yourself what's going on? If this was happening to a loved one of mine, I'd be shouting from the rooftops, about these 'abuses' trying to get them the help they n eed. Disgraceful and DANGEROUS to boot. They NEED HELP NOW.

This place is a disgrace for any senior to live in. It's been three years after my first review and the place has deteriorated and nothing is being done. The facility is nasty and dirty. The couches in the common area have been stained with urination and animals have left their scents.The carpets from the third floor to the first floor are beyond filthy. The rails around the walls are dusty and filthy. There will be weeks before a vacuum cleaner has been ran. The elevator stays nasty and because we are in pandemic mode, seldom is cleaned. There are pillars inside and out that are never cleaned. The windows have spider webs and are dirty as well. The mailbox area needs daily cleaning but is never ever cleaned. The laundry room is often filthy with dryer sheets on the floor and trash running out the trash can. The washer and dryers should be cleaned and sanitized. On top of this, the trash doors for which your trash is deposited get locked on Fridays at 12 noon and if it's a holiday, it is usually six days total. It Is locked until Monday's which means you must walk to the back of the building to deposit your trash. WE HAVE TENANTS WITH EXTREME DISABILITIES AND SOME CAN'T EVEN WALK. Actions such as these are in violation of the United States Disabilities Act Furthermore, there are no amenities they promised in their brochures and you will be lied to constantly about everything. The assistant property manager, Jennifer Carter has no people skills and will become argumentative with tenants. Mrs. Carter has demonstrated that she cannot manage seniors without getting upset and flying off the handle. When you come to building 284, I suggest you run for your life. Delores Freelon
