Ths staff was friendly but this was quickly overshadowed by the horrible condition of this property. The carpet is filthy and the rooms are in need of major repairs and smell old. The first room I was place in had black mold in the shower and on the ceiling. I was then moved to another room and found blood on the comforter!!! The decor reminded me of a 1960's horror film. I didnt feel safe at all on this property. It was so filthy that i didnt trust to eat the breakfast for fear of getting sick. Avoid this property at all cost!!!! The price I was charged was ridiculous to stay in this rundown hotel.
Rooms: One word....DISGUSTING!!!!
Safety: I didn't feel safe on this property!!!

Sometimes the employees are pre occupied and miss some things but for an overall review to be honest this place is more than sufficient and a worthy place to rest your head and usually beats every price around. The beds are comfortable, the room is conditioned indoor temperature and they serve free complementary breakfast and coffee with condiments. What other amenities are necessary that would take and jack the price up ridiculously? Decent business for what's it is and whats available. Not much different from any "high class" hotel price gouging fools and taking their money at a considerable and note worthy mark up

I truly believe that this place is used for sex trafficking.
First thing first, the staff were absolutely the sweetest people. Very welcoming and kind. Now that that is out of the way, we booked for a king room when we arrived no king rooms were available because they were not yet clean. Mind you check in is at 3pm. When we got on the elevator the stench smelled like sewage. Once we got off of the elevator and on the second floor we immediately regretted our decision. The hotel gave a very sketchy vibe. The hall space was extremely small, dimly lit, and smelled of stale cigarettes (despite the no smoking notice on posted in the elevator). The rooms were also very close together. Upon reaching the room I noticed that the door looked as if it werent shut all the way, but it was. When we entered the room we immediately became disappointed. The room space was very small, smelled of stale cigarette smoke, and there was no curtain on either of the windows. One window had a pull down black out shade and the other had absolutely nothing on it; in fact the shade for the naked window was in a corner of the room. Half of the bathroom door was hanging off of the hinges and dragged the floor as we opened it. It also had a hole in it. The bathroom smelled like cleaning product and sewage. The shower was not cleaned and there was a handicap washing chair in the middle of it. We were not provided with any clean towels or washcloths. There was only one folded towel in the bathroom. There was only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and no other roll. The walls were super thin. I have absolutely no idea what was on the third floor but there was an intense knocking and dragging sound coming from the room above us. It sounded as if someone was constantly dragging furniture and the noise would only stop for a few minutes at a time. And when it stopped there were eerie footsteps and the closing of a door. The sounds would last for about 15 to 20 minutes and this took place from the moment we arrived until we left. The only reason we decided to stay was because the room was non refundable and we only needed a place to sleep for the night. The condition of the room door made us very uncomfortable so I ended up barricading the door before we went to bed. Because of the constant noise upstairs I was unable to sleep through the night and I was on high alert due to the environment. Please if you would like an establishment that provides the bare minimum of safety and comfortable spaces do not book here. They charge a very unreasonable price for a terrible stay.

For 115 dollars this was a fine stay. The staff was incredibly friendly. However, in the first room we were put in the smoke alarm was missing from the wall and it had no towels at all. When we returned to the room in the evening the toilet had overflown all over the bathroom. We had not even used it. When we went to ask the desk about it they gave us a new room but also implied this had happened many times before. In the new room we found hairs around the room as soon as we entered and it stunk like cigars. Luckily this room did have a smoke detector though im not sure it worked.
The train nearby doesnt bother me because its a cheap hotel in a college town but I at least expect a clean room with basic safety measures. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and happy to help when we needed things. I have read many of the replies that the hotel has left to these reviews and they all say the same thing but it seems that nothing has been done about these basic safety measures.
For a hotel like this im not asking for a 5 star stay. Im asking that its clean and there is a working fire alarm/smoke detector
