We chose Andy Walker as our realtor because of his more than 30 years in the real estate business and his extensive knowledge of our area, and were very glad that we did. We had owned this house since it was first built in the early 1960s, and Andy soon demonstrated that he was the right person to guide us through this really sad time in our lives when we were selling the house in which we had lived for more than 60 years. We had firm offers within a week after our house went on the market between Thanksgiving and Christmas. He was constantly in touch and responded to all questions immediately and explained everything thoroughly as we began moving everything out of our beloved house. We were so fortunate to have crossed paths with Andy Walker. We were looking for a home for our daughter who attends USC. On a whim, we called Andy about a house he had listed in the Shandon neighborhood. Upon meeting Andy at the house we immediately felt a personal connection with him. His friendly disposition and authenticity were instantly apparent. It only cemented our opinion of Andy when others in the banking and real estate industry said how lucky we were to be working with him. It is obvious he is highly respected in his field and the community. We hit the jackpot!
Throughout the entire process, he went above and beyond. He listened to our needs, was always responsive, and gave us excellent, insightful advice. He is very knowledgeable about Columbias neighborhoods and its current housing market. Because we live on the opposite side of the country, he made the daunting process of searching for property smooth and easy. When a house came on the market, he sent us the listing and then showed the house to our daughter. He only considered homes he would feel comfortable having his own daughter living in. He was so good to work with and our daughter and her friends really enjoyed touring homes with Andy. Thanks to Andy, our daughter now has the perfect home in Columbia and we have a trusted new friend in the community. We are so thankful to have found him as our realtor. He is simply the best!
