Capital City Catering

Capital City catered my 150 person wedding in September 2023. We chose to have passed hors d'oeuvres, a charcuterie table, several dinner stations, and a dessert/s'mores bar. Everything looked and tasted amazing. We received many compliments from guests! The team was professional and kind - would highly recommend!

Capital City Catering just catered my wedding in the Great Falls area. My guests were RAVING about the food. We chose a low country boil and oyster roast for our entrees and hands down the food was perfection. I absolutely love seafood but can also be slightly picky about it. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and not over cooked, the oysters were soooo good. The food was definitely one of the many highlights of the night for my groom, myself, and our guests. The service was phenomenal. I loved the staff that helped out that night, and am so thankful for all of their help on my big day.

Capital City catered our November 2023 wedding and it was amazing! We really wanted to go a little beyond your typical chicken or beef options and our expectations were far exceeded. When we met with LeeAnne to discuss our options, she was so helpful in crafting a menu that would represent us and our families. We had passed hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour, 3 dinner stations, and a late night snack. They also provided our bar and LeeAnne had a great idea for a margarita with a fall twist as our signature cocktail. Everything was such a hit and we are still hearing comments from guests saying how great the food and drinks were. My personal favorites were the shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. Capital City Catering was the only choice for us!

We had CCC cater our September wedding at The Lace House at Arsenal Hill in Columbia, SC. All in all we had a great experience with CCC! The day of service provided by CCC was fantastic - the food was delicious and it came at a VERY reasonable price! We went with passed charcuterie cones for our cocktail hour and prime rib and salmon for our plated dinner. We hosted our seated dinner on a non-traditional part of the venue that required CCC to cook and prepare out of a different kitchen on-site and it went on without any problems. Also, the bartending staff was fantastic! I am a very avid recycler. The bartending staff was sure to tell anyone who threw (or was about to throw) their cans or bottles in the trash to take them instead to the designated recycling bins and I cannot tell you how much I appreciated their respect and vigilance for my wishes. Also, coming around the corner of the house lining up with my husband for our grand entrance for the first time as newlyweds, the CCC staff began to wave and cheer for us - this meant so much to us and really solidified the great decision we made with going with CCC. The one small hiccup we had with CCC was the length of time it took them to deposit our initial deposit check which had me worrying for about 2 months - especially because they never gave us notice they had received our mailed payment. When planning a wedding there is a lot of cash flow going out - prompt check deposit (or at least receipt of the check) would have put me more at ease. It was also a bit difficult to get in contact with CCC by calling their main line during this experience. However, overall I would still give CCC a very positive rating given their performance after this hiccup and would still recommend them as a vendor for both catering and bartending services! One last positive with going with CCC for bartending was that any unopened alcohol was returned by them to the distributor and that helped us save a little bit of money after the event which is always a great feeling!
