Food is fantastic and I frequent Rue, but patio seating is insufficient. There's not enough tables and it's hard to get one. Parking: Parking garage is right next to it, but it is frequently closed due to music events next door without warning or any way to tell in advance, which makes it hard to make reservations

Absolutely phenomenal French Restaurant. We've been to every French Restaurant in the Charleston area, this by far is not only more authentic in menu and ingredients but the vibe, music and the flavors. One of the best au poivre medium rare filets I've ever had. The Rabbit in the menu is simply insane. Amazing flavor and you would think this Rabbit was at Chernobyl, it was so massive!! Service was absolutely stellar. Our waitress was Frances (gorgeous by the way) and she didn't miss a beat, even had the bartender make an Old Cuban, when it wasn't right, they fixed it to perfection. Highly impressed with this restaurant and we will be back and often.

Absolutely delicious soups! I also loved the Expresso Martini! Clean bathroom. Helpful and friendly employees. Cozy, private seating booths.

Absolutely phenomenal place! From Chef Marcus' food, to the Manager Mike and the staff, you cannot go wrong with Rue.
