Huddle House - Permanently Closed

The Huddle was my go to place for burger and fries. They had the best fries 🍟 in Camden, SC hands down. Yes, there were times the staff was short and the food took longer, but it was always worth the wait to get REAL HOT 🔥 FOOD. I sure will miss them and very sorry they closed.

Much better than waffle house in my opinion. Much cleaner too. Service was a little slow even though they weren't busy but service was great.

I drove 25 miles to get the triple huddle burger with cheese. I tried calling ahead to make sure the store was open and they would be able to serve what I wanted but the phone rang unanswered 3 times. Taking a chance I drove to the store and there was a sign posted on the front door that said "Sorry we are having a food shortage" After the waitress sat me down I asked if they could make the triple cheese burger and she said "No. All we have are eggs and bacon today." I left and went to steeple Chase down the street and ordered a cheeseburger. This store seems to suffer from a serious lack of management. I don't see how they can stay in business like this.

Horrible experience. 15-20 minutes just order, I used the stopwatch app on my phone and our order took exactly 30 minutes to come out. We ordered eggs & an omelette, at an egg joint. My omelet that was a dark brown color had one large clump of nasty over processed cheese. I was at the bar next to the register, multiple people complained about not being able to pay, and leave. Whomever their management team is, you need to get some actual processes in place to promote efficiency and a customer first mentality. Right now the food and service is garbage.
