Andy was incredibly responsive and his team was efficient and thoughtful. Andy made some very helpful suggestions and did not pressure me to do more or spend more than I needed. We used Joe today to solve a heating problem with our Nest thermostat. He was timely, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend him for your needs. His card will stay at the top of my pile for service repair. I couldnt be happier.

BUYER BEWARE - PRICE GOUGERSI've used Providence Plumbing & Heating a couple of times.  I never paid too much attention to their bill except for this last one which jumped out as unreasonable, given the nature of the job.  The issue was a simple pipe leak, where they supposedly replaced 3ft of copper pipe.  First red flag - why am I paying for two plumbers at their hourly rates to fix a simple pipe leak.  This is clearly a one-person job.  Labor charged for something that shouldn't take over an hour, is over $400 of total labor.  This is outrageous!  Of course, they take 20% off so it seems like I am getting a deal.  Second red flag - They are charging me $13/foot for copper pipe.  I have no idea how they come up with this, but I do know that any Home Depot store has standard  1/2"copper pipe priced below $2.00/ft.  They are essentially marking up their parts prices by over 500%!  When I first received this invoice, I contacted Andy on October 28, 2022, and expressed my concerns about what they were charging me.  He said he would take a look at it.  I never heard back from him, but continued to get their invoice and then started getting late fees assessed.  When I finally contacted him on December 13, six weeks later, he said that he reviewed the invoice and determined that it was a fair price.  His rationale was that it was already discounted (i.e. the 20% from labor of two plumbers doing a one persons job) and that he had to travel from RI to MA.  Wait a minute.  Attleboro, MA is just over the RI line, but more importantly, if you are going to charge for traveling outside of your normal service territory, why not be upfront about it.  I can easily find local plumbers in that area if I am going to get gouged for travel costs.  Instead, they justify travel by burying it in their 500% parts markup and charging me for an extra person at ~$200 hourly rate.  After not responded to me for 6 weeks, they actually wanted to charge me a late fee on a bill that wasn't paid because I was expecting Andy to get back to me, as he promised.  These people are disingenuous, and their charges are outrageous.  I will never use them again!

This company is how every company should conduct themselves! We had an emergency with our heating system so I decided to try this company based on the good reviews and they did not disappoint! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! The pricing is very reasonable, they are super punctual, and they do clean cut work. Couldnt ask for more. Thank you Joe and Sharra!
