My favorite Indian spot in RI. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating and the cuisine is fabulous. I have been a regularly patron at this restaurant for 14 years and it still surprises me. Care goes into taste instead of presentation - which is simple and adequate. Try the mint chutney served with the Papadum. Order a Samosa for appetizer, followed by Aloo Gobi, or Aloo Palak for your entree. Perfect! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are many, and you can inform your server to remove cream and butter from vegetarian items to make them vegan. Parking: The venue does not have a parking lot, but there is street parking, and there is always something available.

during Ramadan, our group of fasting people really wanted to cater Taste of India for a rescheduled Tuesday night banquet but theyre closed on Tuesdays. i contacted the restaurant and explained we would be catering for about 30-35 people and was wondering if he would be able to accommodate us. he was willing and brought generous portioned trays and delivered them right on time. i think that shows this business goes the extra mile. the food of course was so delicious, flavorful, and steaming hot for a delivery! and we had so many leftovers that everyone took home and shared with friends.
