Note to Self Boudoir

Working with McKenzie was an absolute joy. She made me feel so comfortable while I was nervous and also made me feel so empowered. Its something I did for myself and I enjoyed every bit of it. Rene the make up artist was such a ray of sunshine as well. She did such an amazing job on my makeup making me feel beautiful while still feeling like myself. If you have the opportunity to work with them please do, you wont regret it! I promise you that you will love more photos than you think you will !

Had an amazing time with McKenzie who helped me to feel confident. This was a wedding gift from a friend and I was overwhelmed when I would think of the shoot, but once I got there everything melted away and I had a really great time. She also was willing to work with me on the packages selections which really meant a lot to me.

This woman is a powerhouse. She will get you I. All your feels, empowering you to love yourself and helping you break out of your shell to find your inner Empress. McKenzie, knows exactly what she is doing it will lead you through poses that challenge who you thought you were and help you become who you want to be. Booking McKenzie is an investment in your future self - Ive done two shoots with her and will definitely be back for a third. Its like a grownup measuring tape - you can look back at the woman you were and then forward at the lioness youve become.

In 2020 I won a photo shoot contest McKenzie was advertising on her Instagram account. She is very professional and instantly made my husband and I feel comfortable and welcoming . I was impressed by her skills I booked my newborn session, engagement session and wedding. I am always blown away by her photography. Thank you so much for capturing these memories. I had to edit to add to my original review. I just recently did a Valentines Day mini shoot with McKenzie and I also got to meet her wonderful new assistant. It was an amazing experience, I absolutely loved how they decorated the set and as always I was blown away when I saw the photos. McKenzie is amazing at what she does. If youre looking for a boudoir photographer again, I highly recommend McKenzie.

The first word that comes to mind is "Wow". From start to finish my experience was remarkable. I decided to do a shoot to give to my husband on our wedding day. Giving him the book and seeing his reaction was so fun. He was shocked and obsessed with the pictures. But as I've thought about it, his reaction is just icing on the cake for me. The real reason I'm so thrilled with these photos and the entire experience is what it did for me. When I got the proofs in I burst into tears. I looked at these pictures of myself and saw a strong, confident, and very sexy woman. Someone that I definitely did not always know. Many women face body dysmorphia issues, myself included. Becoming a bride I felt in the spotlight and my body dysmorphia skyrocketed. Because of that I was nervous to do the shoot, I was scared I'd find every imperfection and it would make me spiral. But after looking at McKenzie's page and reading the reviews I knew if I was going to do this, it had to be with her. McKenzie is an artist. She is a master of her craft and it shows in her work. She helps you every step of the way to make sure you feel and look like the stunning, strong, sexy human you already are. A while ago I saw a post go around a ton of small beauty businesses about their pricing (I think McKenzie might have shared it too). It said something along the lines of "When someone complains about a price being too high they either think your work isn't worth it or they're not worth it." It really stuck with me when thinking about doing the shoot with McKenzie, not only is her artistry worth every single penny but what this shoot did for me is so incredibly worth it.
