Using for flag pole halyard. Stiffer than I thought it would be but seems to be okay so far. It would have been very helpful if the company had included or suggested the proper size crimp for securing two ends.

This is an update 7 months after I wrote my previous review below. Today December 5th 2018 I just pulled down my bungees I made from my trees (holding a custom leaf net above my pool). Even through the Texas Summer heat they still look and operate like new! I say that with excitement being every local bought 5/16" bungee cords I purchased locally that looked quality would fail within a month, the rubber on the inside would break. Seven months later these never broke, never separated and the Hunter Green color remains the same. I am completely impressed and am happy I finally found such a quality product. I am not affiliated with this company whatsoever. I had to edit my review to post here. Below is my original review from seven months ago. My rating of 5 stars remains with even more enthusiasm. If you want quality long lasting bungee I recommend the marine grade polyester, it has far outlived any other I have tried. Alan in Texas. Original Review: First time purchase and I spent almost $100 getting things I should have done long ago. The 5/16" bungee I bought was the marine grade hunter green polyester, awesome! The outer pattern is like quality marine grade braided rope and the deep green color is really great looking. I ordered the hog rings and pliers. Simple tool but things not explained on the website- the pliers are spring loaded closed. What that means is you can insert the hog ring into the pliers and they hold it perfectly which frees your other hand to position the bungee before crimping. If you have crimped hog rings you will understand what this benefit it, super helpful. My only contact with the company post-purchase was directions to post this review, my browser didn't see what their links showed. They were very helpful and professional. I am very impressed with the products I purchased and intend to be a repeat customer when supplies are needed. Alan in Texas
