I have been a patient at Coastal Medical in EP for a very long time and have always had great experiences in East Providence. Today, I had to go to the Hillside Medical location for lab work. I went into the office of Hillside Medical and a woman named Latonya (or something similar) was extremely rude. I work in healthcare and cannot imagine ever treating a patient the way she treated me. It amazes me that a person who works in healthcare could be so rude, dismissive, and argumentative. I will never return there.

I've been going here for over 10 years. Never had any complaints that warranted a bad review. Of course there have been change of staff and on occasion something wasn't done normally. But I'm not going to blame the entire practice for one person's mistake. There was ONLY one time where I was genuinely upset with someone's tone and I addressed it during my visit. Nicely and respectfully. We're only human. People are allowed to have bad days.

Staff members especially those in reception and pharmacy are extremely rude and will do anything including play dumb or lie to get you off the phone. You have to be painfully persistent and a constant bug in their ear to do something as simple as have a script sent to the pharmacy. Of all the coastal medical offices I would say avoid this one

Been a patient for over 20 years . Response time is horrible. Been waiting for a script refill for five days , something Ive taken for 20+years . Requested an anti nausea med over 12 hours ago and still nothing. I work for a physician and rarely ask for anything because I understand the overwhelming amount of calls that come in daily but this is unacceptable in my opinion. Have two messages in without response. Unfortunately this is the norm now. Person on phone this morning pretended she didnt know what I was asking for . If I thought there was better out there I would try.
