Pool and hot tub are getting renovated, looks like the project has been going on for many weeks and may have months to be complete. Minus One Star for that. Rooms are Big, but dated. No expense was spent buying comfortable furniture in the living room. At best garage sale thirds! Pots and pans are so cheap EVERY THING sticks to them. We went out and bought a non stick pan for this trip and will bring on future Wyndham trips. Staff helpful and friendly as they should be. Walking distance to stores and restaurants and the Aquarium which wasnt open either. Nice area for walking. Directly across the street is a marina for lobster boats and a lobster roll restaurant/market which we enjoyed for a lunch. $$$ a little pricey but expected for fresh lobster rolls . Noteworthy details: The mansions are a must see! Its just incredible the sizes and details of rooms that were built in 1870s without power tools. 50 high ceilings in a dining room or living room, decorated to the Max (gaudy in todays standards but amazing just the same)

Absolutely loved our stay at Club Wyndham Long Wharf! The location was perfect for exploring Newport's charming streets and beautiful harbor. From the moment we walked in, the staff couldn't have been friendlier. They were helpful with recommendations and always greeted us with a smile. Our suite was a breath of fresh air - spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Having a full kitchen was a game-changer, especially when traveling. We could whip up quick meals or enjoy leisurely breakfasts in our comfy PJs. The bed was super comfortable, and housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless throughout our stay. The hot tub and pool area (be aware it's under renovation until June 2024) looked inviting and should be fun, and the on-site movie theater was a fun perk we weren't expecting. Overall, Club Wyndham Long Wharf provided a relaxing and enjoyable home base for our Newport adventure. We'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for spacious, clean accommodations and a friendly staff!
