I had to have a cyst, tooth n wisdom tooth extracted, I had no pain whatsoever afterwards. The whole staff is amazing! Dr. Bakiois is extremely professional n courteous. I would highly recommend East Bay Oral Surgery for those that need a tremendous dental team.

My dentist recommended this dentist and I made an appointment to have a simple extraction of my upper wisdom teeth. My referral appointment went well and I thought the staff was very friendly. That all changed when I went in for my actual extraction. My appointment was at 2:00pm. I went in for 1:45pm. They told me they didn't have me on the books but could see me tomorrow. I sternly said, "my appointment was for today, so I expect to be seen today." After a great deal of back and forth she agreed to keep my appointment for today and told me to sit and wait. I told her after some thought that maybe I should find another dentist because I wasn't feeling very confident in the dentists ability to pull my teeth if they can't even keep the appointment book straight. She said, " That was my fault, it's ok, you have a very simple extraction, we will get you in, it won't take long." That response didn't inspire confidence either so I started looking at reviews while waiting. I found a lot of one star reviews and it seems like the same story over and over. Then, from the office comes a gentlemen being walked by a nurse and another woman (it appeared to be a relative) out of the office. He looked like he was in no shape to be walking, he had bloody gauze hanging out of his mouth and his relative was holding an emesis basin. That frightened me. I don't think they take care of patients well, the reviews are horrible and I think I dodged a bullet. I walked out and I only hope other people read the reviews before going to this hack.
