I've lived in Cumberland for a few years now and always enjoyed the Blackstone river bike path, so my wife and I decided to try the kayaking on the Blackstone river. I am happy to say we had a great time and saw a lot of wildlife. It really is a beautiful river with a lot of raw nature and pretty easy to navigate. Blackstone Valley Outfitters was very nice, helpful, and affordable at only $35 a day for a kayak rental ($45 for a tandem). We will definitely be going again sometime in the near future!
