Wines, Steins & Cocktails

I took the Wines, Steins, and Cocktails mixology and flair bartending course in Youngwood in 2016 and only have good things to say. The program was both fun and informative, prepared students both for the mixology end and the business end of bar tending, but what really strikes me is how well they keep up with graduates of the program and offer help well beyond the duration of the class. I've used this class to help me do bartending at weddings and events, guided tastings, and high-end country clubs. I highly recommend this program if you are looking to get a head start in bartending.

Dan is one of the best trainers I have ever met , very informative, would highly recommend wine strings and cocktails to anyone looking to get into the bar tending field this was such a great experience

Wines Steins & Cocktails taught me all the esentials of bartending. I took their class back in 2009, and shortly after graduation I had my first bartending job. A lot of people have a hard time finding a bartending job in a rebatable establishment with no experience but a mixology certification and strong recommendations from Dan & Barb got me in the door. A lot has changed from my first job as a bartender. I have since went on to create a professional bartending service called ProTender. ProTender is a staffing service for private events and weddings for the most part. Most recently I opened my own bar/restaurant in Hempfield's West Point Place called Marino's American Eatery. I highly recommend taking their mixology course if you are looking for either a part job or plan on making a career out of it!
