Their Syracuse NY Depot for Wolf furniture manager Rodney and his single driver refused to fallow covid 19 protocol during the pandemic for masks and safety, also Rodney allowing his driver to work sick with symptoms and unmasked during the pandemic in 2020, a few customers stores had covid outbreaks during this time with no way to tell the cause.Also manager Rodney chastised delivery drivers for wearing masks even becouse of dust allergies, and encouraged violations of dot regulations to keep the depot's bottom line level as possible.Kinard themselves is a mess with organization, wreckless drivers, poor load security, drivers often leave trailers loaded and unlocked and sometimes unsealed in unsecured company rented yards with minimal to no security. Also during the pandemic in 2020 very minimal care taken for covid 19 prevention drivers being forced to slipseat tractors without any truck sterilization, constantly reusing beds in sleeper trucks without regard to drivers wellbeing or contagion spread of any kind. Not to mention their new owners from Canada Day and Ross (who is also owned by a American company) letting go large numbers of experienced drivers only to try to replace them with inexperienced rookies,drivers just to fill government quota and Canadian contractors. Always watch yourself around this company on the road, poorly maintained equipment and dangerous drivers are common as well as all trucks being keyed alike so anyone current or former can have a key to open any truck at any time presenting a security risk not only to the driver but also opening a way to illegal and possibly terroristic activities by unregulated use of company equipment which is poorly monitored.Questionable HR practices that possibly violates Pennsylvania and federal laws as to discharge after illnesses,dot regulations,OSHA safety regulations, discriminatory behavior,and unethical business practices seem to occur here.Also this company will tarnish any former drivers record they feel fit to in order to save face and get out of any unemployment or responsibility that can cost them a dime. Poorly managed oversized truck company that does not have the financing to operate without help from either the Federal Government or by being owned by larger fleets they can draw income from.
