One of the most professional companies I have ever come across I highly recommend this company it is family owned and they treat you like family. The quality of work is excellent and the price is excellent I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Mike and Kathy were very responsive, friendly, and gave great service. It was a very fair price. We needed to replace a furnace so it was a big job and expensive, but we felt very comfortable with Mike and his crew. He will be my "go-to" heating and cooling guy from now on.

I am new to the York area and spoke to several different contractors. My central air system broke down and it was in the middle of the horrific heat we were having this summer. Because my home is an older house, the furnace had to be replaced, as well as the central air unit. After speaking with about four different contractors, I found Absolute Comfort. Kathy was my initial contact, through phone conversation. Not only was she helpful but knowledgable as well to my situation. She said she was going to have Mike call me directly to get more info. After speaking with Mike, he and his father came to inspect the situation. Not only did they give us a quote, for more than half what the others wanted, he took care of everything. They ordered the furnace and the central air unit. They confirmed with us that we approved of the models. The communication was of the utmost I could have expected. When they came to install everything, they were professional, caring and experienced. They explained everything to us, in detail and answered every question we had, no matter how minute it may have seemed. They gave us complimentary service maintenance, for both units. We heard a noise a few days later, called them and he was here to check it out, within two days. Nothing was wrong. It was merely the way the air pushed up on the vent. Three days ago, our water heater broke. Again, not knowing anyone in this area, I called Kathy to see if they could recommend anyone to us, for repairing and/or replacing our water heater. She informed me that Mike and his father also do this type of work. She had Mike call me directly again. Let me please mention that this was a Sunday and he still took the time to call me, not once but three times we spoke that day. The warranty on my water heater was still good, but in order to purchase another one I would have had to go to a different location to get it because the York store did not have one in stock. Instead of making me take the old one back to York, drive all the way to Hanover to get another one, Mike and his father offered to purchase one, from his distributor for me. He immediately ordered it and was here on Tuesday to remove the old and install the new water heater. I am in my mid 50's and I must say that in all the years I have had to deal with these types of situations and/or contractors, I have NEVER felt so much compassion, caring and flexibilty in payments from ANY other contractor. If you want someone who not only has the knowledge and expertise to fix your issues, in your home, but also want someone who is going to care after the work is done and be there to help you through it, then you most definitely need to give Absolute Comfort a chance. I would highy recommend Mike & his company to anyone for any type of home repairs. Last but not least, I would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone at Absolute Comfort!!!! I hired these guys to install a new boiler and thermostat in Oct 2020 and they had to return 3x in the following 2 weeks to resolve various issues w/the boiler not turning on and not keeping pressure. Eventually they added bleeders to the upstairs baseboards because although the heaters worked a day before their install, they didn't work after. They consistantly remind me of this "favor" but it was only done to fix whatever pressure issues they couldn't resolve after their install. A year later, Oct 15 2021, Mike came out again because the boiler wouldn't kick on and I wanted annual service on it and my water heater. They quoted $79 for both. While here he changed the thermostat he installed a year earlier and quit working. Apparently the ones they install with their fancy logo on it are junk (his words). He was in and out of my home in less than 15 minutes and when leaving stated both appliances passed annual inspection and looked good. He said he opted not to flush the water heater because "all the lights were on and it was fine". What? LOL. Curious to know whether he did anything I paid him to do, I checked my basement security cameras and it was obvious no service was done to either appliance. The only thing he did was cash my check on his way out of town (LOVE BANK NOTIFICATIONS). I made several attempts to reach them by phone and email and got no response. To this day he claims none were received. Filed a BBB complaint and saw others have as well. Their response to the complaint was filled with false claims. Mike's dad, Tom, is an under utilized gem and should be in-charge. Last year he offered valuable advice on how I could cut a fence panel to access a dryer vent hidden behind a post, and they claimed they actually cut the fence themselves free of charge. They never did any work whatsoever on my fence. I found both Mike and his wife, Kathy, to be dishonest in their replies to my BBB complaint and online reviews like this one. In my 15 yrs of home ownership this company, hands down, was the worst to do business with.
