The instructors in West Chester are wonderful! They really take their time with you and make sure everyone in class is learning well. The people/other students that are part of the Swing Kat community are also great, everyone is friendly, respectful, and I've made some great friends in the classes. I live in Downingtown and it is well-worth the drive. I've been to other ballroom classes where everyone else is a couple or older, but there is a great mix and I didn't feel awkward being a single lady in class.

I would say that taking this class with Vinnie and Jeanette was a excellent decision on my part, I couldn't be happier with the class.

I was nervous going into the introductory course for swing dance, but my instructors, Vinny and Jeanette, were phenomenal. They made the experience comfortable by giving friendly advice, and I was not afraid to ask questions. It was a personal learning experience, and I am now taking more lessons with them.

I’m from Newtown Square, PA so the classes were super close for me. I took the classes to socialize and have fun. I liked that there was a lead and a follow instructor. met new people and also went to a few dance events that maybe will be a regularly scheduled night out for me. all in all I really enjoy Swing Kat, the staff and people I met.

Since attending the hangar dance at WWII weekend in Reading, I’ve been interested in learning swing. I’ve always been fascinated with the era, and enjoyed dancing with my grandmother as a little girl. I was looking around to take lessons, so my boyfriend and I could actually learn what we’re doing, and came across Swing Kat. We take our classes at the West Chester location and our instructors, Vinny and Jeanette, are wonderful! They offer so much support to their students, and are always willing to slow down and break things down when moves get challenging. We’ve learned so much throughout our two, 10 week sessions and plan on rotating through all the styles of swing offered. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. They also give students access to videos online to review the material, and host dances that have DJs and live bands. I’m so happy I’ve become part of such a wonderful community!
