Was overpaid for the work that he did. My husband and I wanted a bathroom remodel (drywall,new toilet, tub/shower/sink/vanity/flooring. We had painted over our old wallpaper for a temporary fix, and the wall had all sorts of uneven marks and gauges you could see under the paint. Mr. Kulla stated he would not have to start over with new drywall and that he would be able to smooth the walls over so it looked brand new. WRONG! He left it looking worse than before he started! He did sloppy and shoddy work, left clumps of caulk everywhere, scratched our new appliances, and left marks all over the walls that I had to fix myself. He talked my husband out of getting new door frames and left them looking shoddy as well, after he originally agreed to replace the door frames. He used the cheapest pre-hung doors available and did not even cut the main door correctly, You can look through the bathroom door and see major gaps on the sides and under the door. I painted the ceiling and the closet and the doors myself. THIS MAN RIPPED MY HUSBAND AND ME OFF AND I WOULD NOT RECEOMMEND HIM TO REPLACE A LIGHT BULB! I also believe he is prejudiced, because he had a shocked look on his face when he met me, who is white, after meeting my husband, who is black.
