Tara

My boyfriend and I are currently staying at the Bridgeton House which in itself is a great establishment but upon looking up reviews of local restaurants we found the number 1 rated was Tara Restaurant. I have previously called for reservations the night before and eagerly waited the much anticipated experience. Take note that the Tara restaurant sign is narrow in stature, in black and gold, and may be hard to see at night. After we drove down the long driveway, we reached a beautiful homelike establishment. Before we even made it to the door, we were greeted by our names which was very professional. We were taken to our seats based on preference (we sat side by side) and requested a wine menu. Overwhelmed by the choices, we were recommended a personal favorite of the waiter which was called the Montepulciano which was an incredible dry red wine. We first ordered the Gnocchi which was simply the greatest we've ever had. After that we had the Burrata which also was unexplainable. It baffled our minds how spelled out the medley of flavors were where you can pinpoint every ingredient, yet it was still a mystery. I had the Filet Bernaise which was top of the line in quality. It was the most flavorful, tender, perfectly cooked steak with a perfect charring on the side. My boyfriend got the twin filet dish which he absolutely loved. After dinner we had delicious dessert and an overall wonderful experience at Tara Restaurant. World class people, world class establishment, world class food!
