I adopted a dwarf hamster today. He looks healthy. Very cute. Sometimes when we go there, the cages don't look so clean. The puppies and kittens are overpriced. A 3 month old German Shepherd was $2000 and the kittens are $188. They get payed on commission so that's why. The employees are nice but are sometimes bossy. I would adopt a pet again

It's always a shame to even glance in this stores direction when passing it in the mall. The dogs and cats inside are denied proper care every chance they need it. I'll proudly keep paying local shelters for their animals knowing the payments are going towards taking care of the animals properly and helping more in the future. Paying a 125% premium on unkempt pets is a little too asinine for even the truly ignorant.

I don't live near here nor have I ever been here, BUT I seen a white female boxer for 3000 on Facebook and she was nothing but skin and bones. Poor puppy! This is not legal and needs to be checked into. If a puppy is not healthy it should not be avaible to the public until it is healthy, but honestly there is no reason for a puppy to be unhealthy anyways! Someone get justice for that poor little puppy!

i went in for dog food having stayed a little too long visiting Tarentum fam in the summer of 2018. i witnessed a male employee smacking the mice so he could move them to a new portion of their area (presumably so he could clean the other area). i yelled at him to stop and he said, "they don't even feel this" and continued hitting them. i should have whipped out the cell and filmed him hitting them like all you young kids would have. it was so cruel!!! they were doing nothing but causing him a few extra seconds time to complete his menial task. i was SHOCKED at his reply. he literally was smacking them with an open hand on their heads and faces repeatedly....FOR NO REASON. this is a white dude about 30yo with dirty blond short hair. DONT buy animals from them. they're abused and treated without the basic necessities like food, water, kindness, respect, and vet care. theses mice will all have bleeding on the brain from what the employee did.

They are Horrible the animals are sickly looking I had to pick up a sick parakeet for the idiot girl working there bc she was scared. They have made the news twice in one year I believe for sickly and malnurished animals. Please do not give them your business, but stop in and immediately report anything wrong to the news and Humane society!
