Holiday Inn Express Stroudsburg - Poconos

The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great rate, comfy bed, clean room, and a good breakfast. Everything you could ask for. Parking and the grounds were attractive as well.

My daughter and I spent a few days in PA to gamble at Mount Airy Casino. We were checked in by a lovely woman named Melanie. She was extremely kind and accommodating. Our room was immaculate as was the bathroom. The blinds, when closed made the room pitch black, which was great for sleeping. My only issue was that the heated pool was cold and the jacuzzi was broken. Rooms: Room and bathroom were extremely clean Nearby activities: Only 17 minutes to Mount Airy Casino

The heated pool had no heat. Too cold to use. The hot tub was completely out of order and boarded up. I suspect that was supposed to warm the pool. The pancake machine was broken. But the absolute worst was the motion sensor light in the room. It went off all night every time someone moved in bed. No one could sleep with the light turning on constantly. It was not a small light either it was the largest ceiling fixture in the room. The bathroom light was also on a motion sensor and they would set each other off. Worst sleep.

Not in the best location but its right off the highway. The views of the surrounding areas are not good. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable and up to date. The tub didnt drain almost at all though. The service though was excellent and the staff was more than accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The staff makes the place shine where some of the luster is dull. Would stay here again.
