I wish I could give zero stars. Unfortunately I had been a patient here for 7 years as an annual formality. I was only seen once by Andrea Mcclaren, at my very first appointment. It was awful experience after awful experience, never have I had a pleasant moment dealing with this office. Numerous times I have gone to the pharmacy and my RX was not ordered by the “doctor,” so it was unable to be refilled. When I finally moved away, I called to have my medical records faxed and was never emailed the release form as promised. I was told my RX would be filled until I had my appointment with the new provider. When I went to pick it up the RX was never ordered by Pocono Midwives. The pharmacy told me they sent THREE requests for a refill but never heard back from Pocono Midwives. The front office lady who’s name escapes me is always extremely rude and inconsiderate in person and on the phone. I am currently the only office coordinator/personnel at a mid sized clinic in Harrisburg so I more than understand how these things work and this is completely unacceptable and unheard of. Never in my life would I recommend this place to anyone for anything.

I have not been a patient, but I am an actual physician (MD) and was insulted when I was vacationing in the Poconos and a commercial for this practice came on. The commercial unabashedly refers to nurse McLaren as "doctor." This is false advertising. The title "doctor" is only appropriate and accurate in a medical setting to refer to a medical doctor - not a midwife or nurse practitioner or even a "doctor of nursing practice." This is false advertising, likely illegal, and preys on people's ignorance.
