Tavola Restaurant + Bar

Came for our anniversary dinner. Did not disappoint! Staff was super friendly, food was amazing. Atmosphere was relaxing. We had the jerk mahi bowl and the salmon, each was outstanding. Cheesesteak eggrolls did not disappoint either! Their freeze drinks were so fresh and delicious. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well cared for. Definitely my new favorite spot!

Regrettably we chose Tavola because of its convenient location and good reviews, for our sons 50th birthday family gathering, at the beginning of March. There were 12 of us and I had asked if I could bring a cake for this special celebration. Was told there was a $3 service charge per person to bring a cake, but a candle and singing servers could be provided if we ordered their dessert, so I didnt take a cake. A candle on a dessert was provided but there were no singing servers. On arrival I took off my coat but after a few minutes put it back on as the room was cold. I sat through dinner in my coat. The dress code appeared to be heavy sweat shirts and jeans as other patrons must have been to this place before, not the traditional country club attire Im used to. The food was overall mediocre at best. My crab cakes were burnt on the bottom and my sons pizza very burnt. The service was quite good. However, it goes without saying I will not be giving this place a second chance.
