I went to eat breakfast.. I ordered biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs.. I received my food.. the biscuits are hard.. the eggs over cooked.. the gravy was brown.. that's used for Turkey.. no flavor creamer for the coffee.. the food was nasty.. the waitress was great.. but still got charge $5.00. For some nasty food.. that I only took one bite.. that's how nasty the food was..

The beers on tap were unavailable as they were not cold due to a malfunction. The bar smelled like it was wiped down with a rotten rag and above that smell was a punjant bleach smell that burned my eyes. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was pleasant but rather inattentive. The food was descent bar food.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. And it doesn't look good. You have an understaffed bar during peak nightlife hours. You have a Manager who seems more angry that you are there, spending your money. Hearing conversations he's having with the staff is cringe worthy. You can cut the resentment with a knife. Gone are the packed Wednesday night Karaoke that was so popular. Gone is the personable staff there. They are running around so much to handle a 1/3 of the crowd that was there before. The regulars are falling off fast. You have a owner, or representative of the owner, perched in the corner like a Gargoyle over seeing all the operation, which ain't much. The owners that bought this place ran a motel across the street and that was run on minimal spending and it showed badly. Awful. The previous owner here has several places in the area, and knew how to run a place. He had it packed on WEEKNIGHTS, and had the place jumping. That is all gone now. All reviews from here out are Under New Ownership and it won't be good. Ordered food here and it was not good. The burger was undercooked drastically, and to get drinks was a chore. I saw around 8 to 10 taps for beer and they consistently have nothing up on them. Not empty, just nothing in them, no tap paddles, nothing? There was one tap that had Mad Elf on it. Mad Elf is a good specialty beer to have, but what about the big ones? Who goes into a bar and you cannot get Coors Light on TAP? Miller Light on tap, Budwiser on tap. Beers in bottles, that's it. Fundamental, fatal errors are being made here, and it already has taken effect. Went in Saturday night and was trying to enjoy the DJ, when the manager literally came out all aggressive, and overly gave the "Cut" sign so severely is was comical. The patrons openly joked about it. You have to be a professional when working in the public. Aggression, attitude, corner cutting, open resentment, all come across poorly to your "Guest". And this was from the MANAGER. As we all know bad managers can't get/keep good staff. They all leave and the lowest quality come in. I have worked a long time in the hospitality field. People want to go out to eat/have a drink and unwind, and have a good time. They don't want a contentious place, with a manager who hasn't a clue, but plenty of attitude, along with a Owner/Representative hawking the place watching every move, questioning every transaction by understaffed bartenders, who should be paying attention to your GUESTS instead of familiarizing you with how a business is run. I have seen many places change hands and some get better, while some don't, but they never stay the same. I have seen better places than this fail. This one is in a "Death Spiral". Less and less money will be put back into the business, like across the street, and it will be less like a pub/restaurant, more like a cafeteria/prison cell. They're already trying to cut the staff down to one person bartender. Good Grief! With the amount of decent places to spend your money, I would give this one a miss. The Owners are too cheap, and the Managers nuts.
