Cascata Caffe

Food and service in this restaurant has always been great for my family. I read the reviews about the owner but I have not personally seen any such behavior.

We had a group in to dine on February 24th 2024. A Saturday. The man I spoke with on the phone to make the arrangements, Jay, was very helpful. We had 15 people including a few kids and took 2 entrees home and ordered like 5 appetizers. Service was phenomenal. John, one of our waiters, was very welcoming and helpful and thorough at providing exceptional service, making jokes and ensuring he answered any questions we had. The woman paired with him was excellent as well and I don't want to misspell her name. No one had anything but praise for their entrees. Full bellies and happy faces all around. We were very happy overall. We brought our own wine, plenty of delicious bread and butter was provided along with ice water. Even the 2 items ordered off the children's menu were large portions. I ate my entree 3 times altogether, the portion was so generous. Most things come with soup or salad too. I enjoyed the crab/shrimp bisque (only one person thought it was a touch salty) and the shrimp and salmon in vodka sauce. Very delicious! We've been here before and will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Eggplant Parm Ratatoulli Mushroom Soup Pasta primavera Various pastas with various sauces basic salad Parking: Small lot, but the venue isn't terribly large so it works out. Free parking. Kid-friendliness: We had two 10 year olds, a three and five year old. Plus a baby. No issues. Kids portions were very large. Not necessarily going to be a lot of kids in general though, so make sure they know how to sit at a table and behave.

Went for the first time today for the Early Bird Special. We both had the Crab & Shrimp Bisque, and the Fisherman's Fra Diavlo. The soup and main dishes were both excellent. They were even able to make my wife's dish as a seafood marinara without the heat, but still very tasty. A small dessert (mini canolli for me, tiramasu for my wife) were included as well. Our server John, was super friendly and took good care of us. We really enjoyed our experience at Cascata Caffe and will return.
