Unbelievably beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Very accommodating. Beautiful. We will be back!

Everyone was very friendly. Rates were good and it was nice being able to order complimentary in-room breakfast. Food was okay. The Tower Suite was nice, but everything was dusty and had cobwebs - windowsills, chandeliers, a/c, vents, alarm clock - it was obviously a while since it’s been really cleaned and it looks like there is some kind of mold growing on the wooden beams in the ceiling that was attempted to be cleaned. Hot water wasn’t always available in the showers. The TV didn’t have a lot of basic channels and wasn’t a smart TV, so we couldn’t at least log into Netflix. Bartender took my pint glass that was 1/3 still filled and asked if I wanted it topped off … then charged me for a full pint. The checkin process was confusing and a lot of the staff we encountered seemed to not know what they were doing. They were really trying and honestly the staff were really nice, but there were just so many small things wrong that all added up.

Saturday lunch was a great time to celebrate a birthday. It was less busy than the evening, so it was relaxing. The lunch food was just as delicious. I was able to taste a few of the drafts before selecting my standby--Guinness. One dessert was complimentary to help celebrate the day. The server was pleasant and attentive, adding to the experience. We used OpenTable for the reservation and it was easy. There was outside eating but we preferred to be indoors with AC.
