Stay away from this school. They are so unreliable! They cancel only certain kids due to staffing issues and the workers are allllllll over the place. Definitely not a good place to bring your special needs children.

Do yourself a favor stay clear of anything to do with the friendship house went to the one in mayfield they are terrible they take no interest in the well being of patients and they are supposed to be a mental health facility

Absolute mess of a facility. They treat every kid exactly the same way by some foolish protocol and don't actually get to know the child. My kid has a deep rooted fear of clinical settings. I made an appointment so I could ask the psych NP some questions that I never got to ask because they called my kid back alone and started peppering her with questions. She felt ambushed and attacked. She froze. Then the therapist called us back and continued at her as she sat in the chair, shaking and crying. Our whole family is going through a traumatic experience right now to begin with and this had her further unnerved. I asked my daughter if she was done, she nodded and I took her out of there and terminated service. A system designed to help and protect kids should, at the very least, get to know them as individuals, not just treat them all the same. And don't get me started on the nasty nightmare that does the TOVA testing, I should've pulled her out then. My kid feels attacked and traumatized at a time we genuinely needed the most help. It's a hot mess.

I lived at Friendship houses now closed Madisonville campus back in 1987...staff were extremely abusive and treated us like prisoners..I NEVER was arrested as a juvenile and deserved much better treatment.. .place should be shut down and administration should be INDICTED.
