Planned Parenthood - Scranton Medical Center

I was at this branch for two hours just for a depo shot. Then it took 20 mins afterwards to even get my receipt. All this took me past my meter time luckily I didn't get a ticket. The nurse that gave me the shot didn't even take my feelings into consideration when I told her I didn't want it in my butt. I told her I have always gotten it in my arm in the NY branch but she didn't listen.

I will say the doctor is very rude at this planned parenthood and so are the nurses i don't get the care that a normal gyn would give i find this very unusual and it takes them like a half hour to give u ur birth control pills like really u people sux and i though these clinics were to help the uninsured they dont u have to lie and say you dont work to get ur pills thry charge u 200 dollars for pills thats bull

Ok... I like Planned parenthood in theory, because SOME branches (not this 1) are actual abortion providers, but the administration & NURSING staff at this branch are rude, nosy and SLOW!!!! I'VE NEVER had an on time appointment here in 13 years. The actual Doctor is SUPER SUPER nice & reasonable, though. I just didn't like the INCREDIBLY nosy & unnecessary questions the government forces them to ask that have NOTHING TO do with health or sexual health, like gun ownership or whether you wear a seat belt or not. These questions are for government statistics!!!! (Although it 'supposedly' remains anonymous). The fact that I am being judged & lied to here by the mean, unfriendly nursing staff is uncalled for. Especially when the questions were not about actual sex related issues. I recommend going just about ANY WHERE ELSE for a Gyn visit.
