    It was a cute place, but they didn't have the icecream properly labeled and we recieved mint chip when the sign said cookies and cream. This may have been due to new staff but this switch up of the flavors could have been harmful because of food allergies. Be careful what you order.

    We Had a wonderful day . It was our oldest son Birthday weekend . We surprise him a took him to Great Wolf Lodge for the day he had a blast.

    I would give 5 stars but this past visit made me knock down a star. I visit GWL poconos every year if not twice a year. I love the affordable family friendly waterpark. I tell everyone to go here. This past visit I left very upset. My last day here I went to go on the bowl water slide with my 15 year old daughter. I noticed a child probably 8-10 years old struggling to get in his tube and slide off and franctically get back to the edge to hold on as not to go down the slide without a tube. I jumped in to help and called over for an attendant. This attendant was overwhelemed and stressed and thankful I was their to assist. He was on his own to watch 4 different slides with MANY people coming and going. 2 slides the lighta were malfunctioning. I commend this young man for doing all he can. He was their Friday April 8th at 11am so give him much apperciation. I left the slide to find help for this man watching the slides. The friendly staff in the water park with the orange vest where not so helpful as I said he was on his own and how unsafe that was. They informed me they were short staffed. I said maybe they could shut down a slide and they said they couldnt do that. I went to the front desk as I was infuriated at this point as a mother of 4; seeing a young boy struggling for help and the attendant who was very overwhelmed and stressed. I was concerned for the safety and wellbeing of others. I went to the front desk and asked to speak with a manager. I didnt get to speak with them. They did go to the waterpark and addressed this issue. I felt I needed to be heard. Safety at a waterpark should not be an issue!! The staff meets before hand to get their job assingments this should have been a priority from the begining. Short staff or not this should not have happened to the attendant or the guest. Do better GWL!!

    My family and I stayed at GWL on 3/8/22. My stay was not representative of what GWL has been in the past. When I booked our stay I was not aware that the entire children's section was closed, nor did it mention it on the app anywhere when I booked it. We came as a present for my sons birthday and all he could do was the wave pool (waste of money). After about an hour or so in the waterpark everyone was ready to leave because they were all bored. Our room was okay, but there was a hole in the wall a little over from the toilet where a huge spider came crawling out of. None of my kids would use the bathroom without me checking for the spider and watching for the rest of our stay so I tried to cover the hole with some toilet paper and still make the best of it. The final nail in the coffin were the people above us were EXTREMELY loud and had at least 1 child that was stomping on the floor frequently (had to be repeated tantrums) and they just let them. They were so loud we were all woke from our sleep more than 1 time. I completed the survey advising of the issues, I've called and left a message, I spoke with customer service who suggested I speak with someone at the actual location because of the issues and when I did, I was told the manager was busy. They took my name and number and I've heard from no one. I'm kind of feeling like your guests don't matter at this point and as a mother who brought her 5 children there I would think someone would have reached out by now but nope.
