Talisa, Jeff, and the whole Turn Key family run a tight ship with fair practice and very reasonable pricing. I never mind waiting in line for a sale! I really appreciate the extensive photo albums of upcoming sale items on their website, and they give helpful tips, such as come early if there's an item you really want and bring personalized SOLD labels and bags or boxes for small stuff. Their staff is always available to help move large items or answer questions quickly. Excellent family business!

My experience hiring Turn Key to run an estate sale in my parents’ home in February 2020 was awful. Clearing the home was wrenching - dealing with Turn Key made it worse. Turn Key gave items away for paltry prices. Co-owner Talisa Harshman was rude and and communicated poorly. Three reasons why I am unhappy: 1. Turn Key ran the sale to offer bargains to regular buyers, not to get fair prices for me, the client. The truth is Turn Key does very well even when it sells items for absurdly low prices. It charges $500 for marketing and set-up, earns a 30 percent commission, and another $600 and assorted fees for the clean-out option. Overall, Turn Key took nearly 40 percent of the earnings from the sale. Friends who attended the sale at my parents’ house told me buyers lined up early and sales were very brisk. The reason why – regular buyers know that Turn Key practically gives items away. 2. Talisa Harshman, the co-owner, was rude, thin-skinned and communicated poorly. She and her crew proceeded through the house during the pre-sale set-up in a brash and graceless manner; it felt more like they were repossessing the house, than providing a service to me, their client. After I complained to Talisa about carelessly bagged trash, she essentially ceased to communicate and offered the tersest replies to text messages. In written communications, my name was always misspelt. After the sale, I waited some six hours for information about the result. 3. There is no accountability to the client. Turn Key offers only a single receipt with the sales total and deductions for fees. There is no itemized list of the items sold. Turn Key prohibits the client from being present in the house during the sale. As such, I know nothing about what took place. Talisa and Jeff could not have cared less about me, their client.

I am glad I am not the only one that feels they are beyond rude!!! Like dealing with the high school bullies. I may be some things...but a thief I am not!!! Wish I could give a -5 stars. We felt TKL was the best, followed them all over... and purchased many items. Recently something has changed however. We normally get to these sales at 11-11:30 and it normally takes an hour to see everything. TKL normally goes 1/2 off all items at 12:00. Now I get that ppl take advantage of this, however, If they are so worried about it then close down at 12:00 and re-open at 12:05 at half off. Instead Talisa chose to alienate an entire room of customers with an accusatory speech. My girlfriend and I purchased and paid for these items at 12:00 (at full price). I continued to find more items and went to check out. Talisa then, (spoke extremely loud) in front of all these people that I had items I was holding on to too long. So these items came to a total of 15.00. I paid full price for items that were still there even after 4 hours of ppl shopping. I hope Talisa feels bad about this embarrassing dramatic display. So I will recommend TKL if you want treated as a criminal and humiliated in front of others. I go back after I give an honest review (maybe even get an apology) and they SCREAMED AT ME -YELLED TO GET OUT- GOT IN MY FACE AND ASK WHAT I AM GOING TO DO ABOUT IT AND GET THIS -ONE-SAID MY GIRLFRIEND DOEST ENEN WANT ME. This was in the house full of customers. This is no joke - other ppl that we’re there are writing reviews on what happened as well. Oh and they tried to call the police on me.
