Joe Graham Painting

We have worked with Joe Graham Painting for 7 years now and he is great! He is professional, courteous, and supportive. He provides an estimate up front, which you can adjust to fit your needs. He shows up when he says he will and works until the job is completed. Some of the jobs he has completed for us include: -Prep & painting our old house for sale -Painting our new house, including patching drywall and replacing broken moulding -Painting our chicken barn -Painting our horse barn -Painting our motor barn -Painting our pool house -19th Century Grist Mill He cleans up after himself and is very flexible,. His rates are competitive and because he's so anal, he won't leave a job until I'm satisfied. He also works well with other contractors. On our pool house, the GC was able to coordinate with Joe without any issues.

Joe Graham Painting did the interior and exterior of our home over a dozen years ago and still looks good! His work is both professional and thorough and I will not hesitate to call on him in the very near future with some upcoming plans!

We have engaged legal counsel, and will likely be filing suit against Joe Graham Painting. In the interest of keeping this review as short as possible, we are including the “highlights”, although we could probably write 2 pages of issues. We used Joe Graham twice before and were happy with him, his services and pricing. This last project (on our newly built home) was a debacle. (The project was almost $20k.) Joe promised the work in 4 weeks, and then abandoned the job at 9 weeks. Joe grossly inflated his woodworking skills (which are currently being remediated by another contractor). He hired unskilled workers for which he later admitted he neither checked references nor conducted background checks. He did not honor quoted (contract) pricing. Personal items were carelessly lost and broken. We do not feel that Joe’s claims as to his quality of painting were accurate (“thorough prep work”…“excellent in finish painting”). Joe did not cooperate with the Better Business Bureau’s investigation of our matter; the PA Consumer Affairs Board has also opened up a file. Needless to say, we would not recommend Joe Graham Painting.
