It was nice studio, and served refreshments, though it needed more heat. On my first visit, for a Sat. night ballroom dance, I found there were enough people to fill the dance floor. They were fairly friendly - willing to dance with a newcomer - so I had a good time, staying until 9:30 PM.

My boyfriend and I purchased a Groupon for two weeks of beginner classes at Arthur Murray Pittsburgh East and were pleasantly surprised with the outcome! For starters, I have absolutely no experience when it comes to dancing... I was extremely nervous to attend the group classes. Our instructor, Alexa, was PHENOMENAL!!! She was so welcoming and stayed upbeat throughout the duration of the class. She went over steps multiple times, which allowed us "newbies" time to adapt to the steps. After learning the steps, she would have us do them to the music and rotate through partners. It was a bit weird at first to dance with someone other than the person I came with, but it definitely encouraged me to try harder for perfection! The classes flew by, and were honestly so much fun! I would recommend Arthur Murray Pittsburgh East to both newbies and experienced dancers. They offer advanced lesson and private classes as well!
